In my practice, I have observed that many people, including couples, experience and tolerate emotional states with difficulty. Some feel disconnected from themselves or their partner, creating psychological and marital distress.
Based on attachment theory, my humanistic and emotionally focused interventions help partners to improve the quality of their love relationship and maintain a secure and lasting emotional bond.
As part of a dynamic process, I place caring, compassion, self-exploration and self-observation at the heart of my clinical practice. In a warm and empathetic approach, I help couples to better identify their relationship cycle and how to develop a secure attachment bond.
In addition to couple therapy, based on humanistic approach, my varied clinical experience includes working with adults presenting a variety of difficulties, including workplace relationships such as exposure to workplace bullying, difficult interpersonal relationships, emotional regulation, depression and sexual assault. Engaging in a therapeutic process requires courage and reflects a commitment to oneself. I am therefore committed to establishing a frank therapeutic relationship based on openness, flexibility and humor.
Qualifications

Licensed Psychologist with the Order of Psychologists of Québec

Doctor of Psychology, Combined Psychologiae Doctor/Philosophiae Doctor, Psy.D. and Ph.D.

Previous career in industrial and organizational psychology as a consultant and lecturer at the École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC)
