Individual Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is an interpersonal, relational treatment to help gain insight and improve life’s problems. The goal of psychotherapy is to increase your sense of wellbeing and decrease discomfort.

Tic Clinic

At Lakeshore Psychology & Wellness Center, we are passionate about offering specialized services to persons with tics and their families.

We are the only clinic in the Province of Québec with a practicing Certified CBIT Therapist with the Tourette Association of America. 

We are proud to offer the following services:

Assessment

Our trained clinicians are ready to offer psychological assessments for individuals of all ages, to help you better understand areas of difficulty and to develop recommendations for improving these.

The process of an assessment depends on the age of the client and the type of evaluation.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is a form of psychotherapy that can help you and your partner improve your relationship. If you are having relationship difficulties, you can seek couples therapy to help rebuild your relationship.

Couples therapy can help you at any stage of your relationship, regardless of marital status, age, race, faith, or sexual orientation.

Parent Consultation/
Family Member Consultation

We offer consultation about the mental health and functioning of your child or family member diagnosed with Tourette, tic disorder, anxiety, depression, psychosis spectrum disorder, bipolar spectrum disorder. or other difficulty within our scope of expertise. 

We provide supportive and attentive listening, asking questions  to understand your loved one's strengths and difficulties.

Behavioral Therapy
& Psychoeducation

Psychoeducators help people who are experiencing psychosocial adjustment difficulties manifesting on a behavioral level. They provide evaluation, counselling, preventive action and preventive rehabilitation to improve their clients’ behavioral adaptation in their different living environments. Psychoeducation is a legally-protected profession requiring specialized education and a permit to practice.
